Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll coached again with a heavy heart on Monday Night Football. Just weeks after losing his grandmother, Daboll’s grandfather passed away over the weekend. Daboll found out just before or during the flight to Tennessee on Sunday.
“Yeah unfortunate news,” said head coach Sean McDermott after the game. “Brian’s been through a lot over the last two or three weeks here and so our prayers and thoughts are obviously with him and his family. You never want to see someone go through that, it’s just unfortunate.”
Daboll’s grandparents were the ones who raised him in suburban Buffalo.
