Jordan Raanan of ESPN is reporting that the Bills will sign RB Mike Tolbert to a contract.
Tolbert, 31, originally signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Coastal Carolina back in 2008. He spent four years in San Diego before signing on with the Panthers in 2012.
Tolbert was in the final year of his two-year, $4 million contract and set to make a base salary of $1.1 million for the 2017 season when he was released by the Panthers a few weeks ago.
In 2016, Tolbert appeared in all 16 games for the Panthers and rushed for 114 yards on 35 carries to go along with 10 receptions for 72 yards receiving and one touchdown.
