Bills sign CB Shareece Wright

Just two days after the 2017 NFL draft was complete the Bills added a veteran free agent to their roster, signing CB Shareece Wright on Monday.

Buffalo made CB Tre’Davious White their first-round draft choice last Thursday, giving them seven cornerbacks on their offseason roster, but there was a lack of a veteran presence at the position.

Wright, 30, had a free agent visit with the Bills in Orchard Park earlier in the free agent period.

The most attractive quality in his skill set is his run support and tackling, critically important for cornerbacks in Buffalo’s new defensive system under head coach Sean McDermott.
