Bills GM Brandon Beane didn't take long to begin filling out his front office staff. Less than a week after being named Buffalo's general manager, Beane named Joe Schoen the team's assistant GM.
Schoen had been in the Miami Dolphins front office for the better part of the last decade, serving the last three as Dolphins Director of Player Personnel.
In his role as Miami's director of player personnel, Schoen served as a primary advisor to Dolphins General Manager Chris Grier on all personnel matters.
Schoen spent the 2013 season as the Dolphins assistant director of college scouting after serving the first five years with Miami as one of the team’s national scouts.
