Bills' McCoy calls C.J. Anderson 'engine' of Broncos offense

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Given the position he plays and his role in the offense on his own team, Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy might be a biased observer, but he thinks he knows how the Denver Broncos have scored 24 and 42 points in their first two games.

Asked if there was still a place for a quality run game in a pass-happy league, McCoy said he believes there is and then added a thought on the Broncos offense.

“(I) sure do, look at most teams, the success they have, no matter if the running backs get credit or don’t the running game is major,’’ McCoy said.
