No matter how this season ends for the Buffalo Bills, one common theme that will always be mentioned is how their defense was a huge liability. Even though their pass-defense has been solid, their run-defense has a massive problem.
They are giving up 140 yards per game on the ground heading into this week’s matchup, which ranks 29th in the league. That is beyond inexcusable considering that Sean McDermott is a defensive-minded coach. Either way, the Bills will have to go with what they have.
Despite going heavy on defense last offseason, it would not be surprising if they spent big once again on defensive help (even though they clearly need help at wide receiver).
