Bills hire Zak Kromer as entry-level assistant

The Buffalo Bills have hired Zak Kromer, the son of offensive line coach Aaron Kromer, as an entry-level coaching assistant.

Zak Kromer, 22, was charged with misdemeanor battery in Walton County, Florida last July following a dispute with minors over beach chairs. His father was arrested following the altercation and also charged with misdemeanor battery.

Charges against both Kromers were dropped later that month at the request of the accusers' parents. In a statement, the assistant Florida state attorney said the Kromers and the family of the accusers had reached an "amicable resolution of the matter" and that the injuries to the boys were "minor and required no medical treatment.
