Despite having the NFL's best quarterback, the Buffalo Bills' offensive success has been predicated on the running game. This is partially because Josh Allen, the reigning MVP, is one of the position's biggest dual-threats, but also, because of James Cook and his emergence the last two seasons.
Unfortunately, after initially reporting to training camp and being with the team despite his ongoing contract negotiations, Cook has decided to hold out of camp. This came as a stunning move for Bills fans based on what Cook has said and done all summer.
Now, Buffalo is left in a bit of an odd situation.
