The Buffalo Bills added rare speed to their roster in the form of sixth-round pick Kolby Listenbee in last month's draft. On Tuesday they were awarded the claim for running back and return specialist Dri Archer. Archer, a former third-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2014, was waived by the New York Jets on Monday.
Archer, 24, was signed by the Jets as a future free agent this past January. He was waived by the Steelers last November after serving as a multi-faceted offensive weapon and kick returner.
Blessed with rare speed, Archer (5-8, 174) ran a 4.
