Opportunities don’t come around too often in the NFL. You don’t have to remind a guy coming from Central Arkansas about that.
Dezmin Lewis was promoted from the practice squad on Tuesday, and with injuries creating a cloud of uncertainty around Percy Harvin, Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods, there is a good chance he will play a role in Sunday’s game in Oakland.
“This is going to be an opportunity for him," Rex Ryan said Wednesday. "He's got to poop or get off the pot, so to speak.”
“And don’t just assume opportunities come around all the time, because they don’t,” Ryan added.
