2021 NFL Draft: Buffalo Bills take Houston WR Marquez Stevenson with 203rd pick

After trading down with the Houston Texans netted the Buffalo Bills two sixth-round picks, the Bills used the first of their picks on a Houston Cougar: wide receiver Marquez Stevenson.

The 5’10” 180 pound Stevenson is electric in space, with three kick return touchdowns on his last 21 attempts (in 2019 and 2020). When healthy, in 2018 and 2019, he was an all-conference receiver who stacked up 1,926 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns in two seasons.

However, injuries have been a consistent narrative for Stevenson. He broke his collarbone as a freshman in 2016, then tore his ACL in 2017.
