Dave Diamante, the Nets courtside announcer for six years, the last one in New Jersey and all five in Brooklyn is moving on. And the Nets will be auditioning his replacement

Diamante announced his decision via Instagram Thursday morning.

The Nets thanked Diamante ... and set up an audition, July 18, a Tuesday, at 3 p.m. The organization laid out the qualifications...

The PA announcer serves as the main voice of the Nets during all home games at Barclays Center. The role includes calling the starting lineup, game action, and other in-arena announcements.
