Nets fans have spent much of this season looking forward to next, waiting for their precious few young assets finally to get healthy and hoping to see them develop. Now that Chris McCullough finally is playing, they’re hoping to see more of him.

Now that the gifted 21-year-old is finally playing — unlike the Nets’ other touted rookie, the injured Rondae Hollis-Jefferson — they’re treating him with kid gloves in terms of minutes and matchups.
