Kyrie Irving’s shoulder injury has cost him a dozen games and counting. But at least there finally appears to be a light at the end of the maddeningly-long tunnel.
Irving missed Sunday’s matinee against Denver, and is unlikely to play the rest of this week. But coach Kenny Atkinson said the Nets hope their All-Star point guard can return to full practice within the next week or so.
“I think the plan is to continue to ramp up his individual on-court work, and I think from there it’s starting to integrate him in the next week or two into team practices,” Atkinson said.
