The Brooklyn Nets have one of the most prestigious heritages in the NBA. The team plays in Brooklyn, a borough known for its grit. The new City edition uniforms, unveiled on Wednesday via a press release, celebrate just that.
Clad in black with whitish grey crisscrossing pinstripe, the fourth and final uniforms the Nets will play in are inspired by Brooklyn’s most famous landmark, the Brooklyn Bridge. But the grey stripes are not the only homage to the bridge.
While most teams opt to have either the city or the team name on the front of the jersey, the Nets went with both.
