Since making his return with the Long Island Nets this past season, Terry Roberts has always expressed his gratitude that he’s back on track in a sport that was almost stolen away from him back in February 24 when he almost died following a random shooting on a Philadelphia street corner.
Now, Roberts return is continuing to make headlines as he was invited by the Brooklyn Nets to play for their Summer League roster.
Almost a year to the day after the shooting, Roberts rejoined the Long Island Nets and looked great coming back to play. Roberts started 14 games while playing in 31.
