SHAMS: NETS ADD AMAR’E STOUDEMIRE TO COACHING STAFF

Steve Nash is starting to fill out his coaching staff and his first choice, like the Nets decision to hire him, is a shocker.

Six-time All-Star Amar’e Stoudemire has agreed to a deal to join new Brooklyn Nets coach Steve Nash’s staff as an assistant coach, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. Nash and Stoudemire starred together in Phoenix.

Stoudemire also played two years in Phoenix with Sean Marks. In addition, Frank Isola has reported that Mike D’Antoni, who coached the Suns back then, is a candidate for another assistant’s job.
