After playing their inaugural season at Barclays Center, the Long Island Nets will begin their fist season at NYCB Live, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, Nov. 4 with their historic home opener against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
Last season, the Nets called Brooklyn home while the Coliseum was undergoing renovations but now they are in their permanent home as professional basketball returns to Long Island.
At media day on Thursday, I had the chance to catch up with Long Island Nets Head Coach Ronald Norey along with a couple of Nets players former Rutgers guard Bishop Daniels and former Iona forward Taaj Ridley.
