Russell Westbrook, who had another triple-double, goes up for a layup during the Nets' 108-96 loss to the Thunder on Wednesday night.

OKLAHOMA CITY — The last time the Nets faced the Thunder, they blew a huge lead and got their hearts broken on a buzzer-beater in Brooklyn. This time their twin implosions came much earlier.

The Nets blew a big lead in the third quarter and fell apart late in their 108-96 loss at Chesapeake Energy Arena in a rare national TV game. The loss snapped the Nets’ four-game winning streak, and kicked off a season-long seven-game Western road trek off on the wrong foot.
