Reports: Cavs announcer Olivier Sedra to join Nets this season

Related Topics: Brooklyn Nets, Olivier Sedra

Reports out of Cleveland indicate that Olivier Sedra, the voice of the Cavaliers, will join the Nets this season, replacing David Diamante, who held the job for six years. He decided to focus on his other ventures, which range from boxing to his Brooklyn cigar store.

Sedra is regarded as one of the best, if the best, announcer in the NBA. He has been the Cavaliers announcer since 2006. He was also the public address announcer for FIBA games at the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and the NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans last season.
