On television and in the (web) pages of newspapers, Kyrie Irving is the continued target of those who believe he should simply accept the vaccination and end the controversy that will likely keep him away from the team indefinitely.
Mike Lupica, Stan Van Gundy and Reggie Miller were among took Irving to task overnight, assailing his decision on a variety of levels. Lupica, one of sports most read columnists, even suggested that the Nets should simply trade Irving even if they get 33 cents on the dollar in return.
Irving said on Instagram the other day that this is all about freedom of choice.
