Sabrina Ionescu, the Liberty’s overall No. 1 in the WNBA Draft, went down with a sprained ankle in New York’s third game but one of her six rookie teammates picked up the slack and on the weekend was rewarded for her efforts.
Jazmine Jones has been selected to the 2020 WNBA All-Rookie Team, becoming the first Liberty rookie to earn the honor since teammate Kiah Stokes in 2015.
Jones becomes the fifth Liberty player to be named to the All-Rookie Team, joining Stokes, Brittany Boyd (2015), Kelsey Bone (2013), and Kalana Greene (2010).
