The Nets scouted Jared Sullinger this summer, and now they’re hosting the unemployed big man at HSS Center, their practice facility.
“He’s in town for a workout,” a source close to the player told The Post. “It’s an opportunity for [the Nets] to watch him.”
A photo of the former Ohio State star wearing Nets gear and posing with Brooklyn point guard and fellow Buckeye D’Angelo Russell (left in photo) surfaced online Tuesday.
“He and DR are friends,” the source said.
If the 25-year-old Sullinger can impress the Nets, perhaps he and Russell can be teammates.
