Nets taking a flier on former Knick Henry Ellenson

At least the Knicks won’t be bothered by the Nets’ latest signing.

According to multiple reports, Brooklyn is bringing in former Knicks forward Henry Ellenson on a two-way deal. The 22-year-old, 2016 first-round pick spent 17 games with the Knicks last season, in which he averaged 6.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and shot 44 percent on 3-pointers, while playing less than 14 minutes per game.

Ellenson, a Roc Nation client like the Nets’ Kyrie Irving, Caris LeVert and Wilson Chandler, became an unrestricted free agent when his team option was declined by the Knicks. Ellenson was expected to play with the Knicks in summer league, but left for personal reasons.
