Jan Vesely, the 6'11" Czech big man whose NBA career was best known for the passionate kiss he gave his girlfriend on Draft Night 2011, has garnered the Nets interest, according to Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders.
Scotto reports that the Nets, 76ers and Mavericks “have expressed interest” the now 27-year-old big man.
Vesely has played the last four years in Turkey and this month was a big part of Fenerbahce’s championship run in the Euroleague.
The Nets had scouts at several of his games this season. The presumption was that they were there to watch Milos Teodosic.
