Sometimes, it knocks the door down with a battering ram. Nets reserve point guard Donald Sloan is seeing that latter scenario.
With second-string point guard Shane Larkin waylaid by a concussion, Sloan is the likely recipient of minutes behind Jarrett Jack. Markel Brown figures into the equation, but Sloan is more of a true point guard.
“If there’s not a lot of pressure, we can get away with Markel, I may go with him or who’s playing better,” coach Lionel Hollins said Thursday after practice.
