Kyrie Irving is considered probable for the Nets’ game against the Lakers on Thursday at Barclays Center.
After making a four-game return following a two-month stint on the bench with a shoulder impingement, Irving was sidelined, this time with hamstring tightness, for Monday’s 117-111 loss to the 76ers.
Coach Kenny Atkinson confirmed that Irving practiced with the team Wednesday.
When Irving was officially ruled out for Monday’s game, Atkinson said it was just a cautionary move. Given how Irving’s last injury snowballed from “week-to-week” to nearly two months, it’s an understandable approach.
