Smiles? Laughter? Cheer? What the heck is going on in Brooklyn?
With the woebegone Nets enjoying their most uplifting three days in recent memory, the vibe around the team suddenly is as bright and sunny as the panoramic view through the 16-foot windows in their new training center.
They moved into their $50 million state-of-the-art HSS Training Center on Wednesday, hired general manager Sean Marks on Thursday and drilled the rival Knicks on Friday. No wonder they were so chipper by Saturday.
“Yeah, it’s been a positive three days you could say, with how everything is coming along in those three days,” point guard Donald Sloan said.
