Nets’ bad news merry-go-round spins even as LeVert improves

Good news for the Nets. Caris LeVert, who missed the previous two games with a groin strain, is listed as probable for Monday against the Raptors.

But of course, bad news seems to follow the Nets like a shadow. DeMarre Carroll, who injured his right knee on the game’s final sequence Saturday, is out.

The Nets are expected to provide an update Monday on Carroll, who landed awkwardly at the end of the 87-85 loss to Boston and was helped to the locker room by teammates.

The Nets already have suffered crippling injuries this season to guards Jeremy Lin and D’Angelo Russell.
