Two days before they would have had to pay him his first guaranteed money of the new season, the Nets have waived back-up point guard Darius Morris, who played sparingly, then almost not at all as the season ended. The Brooklyn Nets have requested waivers on guard Darius Morris, Nets General Manager Billy King announced today.
Morris, who was originally signed as a free agent by the Nets on December 11, 2014, appeared in 38 games with Brooklyn during the 2014-15 season, averaging 2.
