With two spots left as training camp approaches, the Nets signed Alan Williams to a two-way deal Friday.
After being battered all too often on the backboards last season, Brooklyn has spent much of this offseason collecting size and adding rebounders. The 25-year-old Williams is a low-risk flier who brings both. He’s a rare fourth-year pro on a two-way deal and one who has averaged 15 rebounds per 36 minutes over his career.
The move was first reported by ESPN and confirmed by The Post.
At 6-foot-8, 260 pounds, Williams has played both center and power forward for Phoenix.
