Led by Hawks assignee Taurean Prince, Chris McCullough and Yogi Ferrell, the Long Island Nets won again Wednesday afternoon, beating the Erie Bayhawks, the Magic’s D-League affiliate, at an empty Barclays Center.
The three were critical to Long Island’s 17-5 run bridging the third and fourth quarter. The final score was 114-107. It was Long Island’s fifth win in eight games and snapped a two-game losing streak.
Prince, a 6’6” swingman, finished with 22 points and eight rebounds while Ferrell who had a short stint with Brooklyn, had 19 points, nine rebounds and six assists. Ferrell shot 7-of-18.
