Here’s a fun stat from Brian Lewis’ report Tuesday on the Brooklyn Nets priority on Draft Night:
Jeremias Engelmann — who was an analyst for the Mavericks and Suns, and created ESPN’s Real Plus-Minus stat — pointed out there were just three players in the draft class who averaged more than six assists per 36 minutes. The Nets picked all three in point guards Egor Demin (7.1), Nolan Traore (7.4) and Ben Saraf (6.3).
