Knicks’ Kevin Durant answer is ex-Lakers bust Julius Randle

The Knicks’ free-agent splash won’t send the same shock waves as the Nets landing Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, but they do have a new big man

The team agreed to a deal with power forward Julius Randle, The Post’s Marc Berman confirmed. The contract is for three-years, $63 million, according to ESPN. The Knicks will likely slide Randle, who has played for the Pelicans and Lakers, next to Mitchell Robinson in their front court.

Randle averaged 21.4 points and 8.7 rebounds last season in New Orleans in what was his best season in the NBA.
