DETROIT — With the Nets coming into Detroit on a five-game losing skid, Kenny Atkinson brought Spencer Dinwiddie off the bench for the first time in well over two months. And it worked like a charm in a slum-busting 121-111 overtime win over the Pistons on Saturday.
Garrett Temple started next to Kyrie Irving, instead of Caris LeVert. Meanwhile, Dinwiddie came off the bench after 32 straight starts. The defensive-minded Temple did a lot of the heavy lifting on that end as Irving went off for 45 points — his most since his Brooklyn debut.
