CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Nets forward Kenneth Faried had his name brought up recently as a buyout candidate. But Nets coach Kenny Atkinson said neither Faried nor his reps have brought up the topic, and that he’s determined to find more playing time for the Newark native, because he’s earned it.
“No [he hasn’t asked] … I know [about the reports]. I just like him on this team. He’s been really good. I just hope we can get him an opportunity,” Atkinson told The Post. “He’s been fantastic. I don’t feel great about it, because he’s been fantastic. It’s weird, some guys, they check out.
