If Jimmy Butler gets his wish, there’s a good chance he will soon be playing in New York.
While requesting a trade from the Timberwolves on Tuesday in a meeting with coach and team president Tom Thibodeau, Butler gave Minnesota a list of teams he would like to be traded to, and with whom he would be willing to sign an extension.
Both the Knicks and Nets are on that list, according to ESPN, with the Clippers as the third potential destination.
