Jason Kidd still retains stake in Nets a year after leaving team

Nearly a year after leaving the Nets in a power play and six months after the NBA reportedly gave him an extension to dispose of his interest in the team, Jason Kidd continues to hold a tiny stake in a partnership that is minority owner of the Nets and majority owner of the arena.

Kidd purchased his stake from Jay-Z in 2013 shortly after being hired to be Nets head coach. Then when he joined the Bucks, he was told by NBA lawyers that he'd have to sell it by February, according to published reports.
