Yogi Ferrell, waived Thursday by Brooklyn, was back in the Nets organization Saturday, joining the Long Island Nets in time to play in a 115-102 loss to the Maine Red Claws.
Ferrell, the 6-foot guard, is longer on Brooklyn’s tab, but is still seen as a development project for the big team.
Ferrell scored 21 points but it took 7-of-24 shooting to get him there. Playing alongside veteran pass-first PG Donnie McGrath, he handed out three assists. The 32-year-old McGrath, returning from an illness, wound up with 14 dimes.
Chris McCullough played 37 minutes, scoring 20 points on only slightly (7-of-22) better shooting.
