SANTA MONICA, Calif. — The Nets’ bench has gone from one of the worst in the NBA to one of the best this season, and Jared Dudley is the old ringleader.
Coach Kenny Atkinson can go not just to Sixth Man of the Year candidate Spencer Dinwiddie, but also deep down his bench to players out of the rotation and get contributions, as during Tuesday’s comeback in Sacramento. That shows they’ve done the work to stay ready, and Dudley has helped lead the way in that.
“I’ll give Jared Dudley a ton of credit, because he’s the ringleader of that group,” Atkinson said.
