The Long Island Nets fought back in the fourth quarter Wednesday afternoon, tied the game late but failed in overtime. The Long Islanders went down to their 10th loss in 12 games, 114-105 to the Erie Bayhawks, at an empty Barclays Center.
Chris McCullough led the charge after playing some of his worst of D-League basketball. McCullough finished with 19 points in 31 minutes, on 5-of-15 shooting, 1-of-2 from three, 6-of-8 from the line, to go along with 13 rebounds, five fouls and six turnovers. Of that total, he scored 11 points in the fourth quarter and overtime, shooting 3-of-5, grabbing seven boards and committing only one foul and no turnovers.
