In a poll of 10,000 NBA fans conducted by Awful Announcing — call it the League Pass rankings— the YES on Nets broadcast team has been voted the fan favorite among the local broadcasters.
Fans were asked to give each of the 30 broadcast teams a grade. The grades were averaged much like a GPA. The Nets team of Ian Eagle, Sarah Kustok, Richard Jefferson, Ryan Ruocco and Jim Spanarkel received a 3.52 grade, with more than 72 percent giving the team an A. The YES team pulled off a clean sweep, with the best grade, the highest percentage of fans giving the team an A.
