A debut date is getting closer for Nets rookie Chris McCullough, who is recovering from a torn ACL.
The 6-foot-11 forward out of Syracuse, who tore his ACL on Jan. 11, 2015, is expected to be activated for Friday’s and Saturday’s games, then possibly play Monday against Denver. It will be a nice birthday present for McCullough, who turns 21 Friday, and is seen as part of the Nets’ future with fellow rookie Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, who has been out since early December with a fractured ankle.
