D’Angelo Russell, the Nets first All-Star in the last five years, played 12 minutes Sunday night, scoring six points on 2-of-5 shooting, handing out three assists and grabbing one rebound as his Team Giannis lost to Team LeBron, 178, to 164, in Charlotte.

DLo, at 22, was the second youngest player in the game. Only Ben Simmons is younger.

Russell made his All-Star debut in the second quarter and scored his first points in the fourth.

Then quickly scored on a second three not long after.

Russell, who came into the game with Dirk Nowitzki, found the Maverick seven-footer for an emotional three-pointer.
