The Brooklyn Nets’ offense came out firing on Monday, as Brooklyn would need a potent offensive performance in order to hang with the Rockets.
The Nets moved the ball well in the early going which led to open shots, resulting in an early Nets lead. Bojan Bogdanovic scored five early points to get the Nets out in front, but at the midway point of the first quarter, Houston was on an 8-0 run to take a 16-11 lead.
Houston stretched their lead to 11 at the 4:14 mark of the first quarter, when Jeremy Lin entered the game.
