Caris LeVert opened the game with slick step-back jumper. That would be the Nets’ only basket for the first three-and-a-half minutes, as Brooklyn’s shooting woes were only beginning. Brook Lopez went scoreless in the first quarter, missing all five of his field goal attempts. The Celtics, led by Isaiah Thomas, Amir Johnson and Al Horford‘s three assists, quickly jumped out to a 13-7 lead, and didn’t receive much protest from the Nets for the remainder of the half. Brooklyn trailed 58-40 after 24 minutes.
