After being destroyed by 25 points on Friday night, the Brooklyn Nets got their revenge against the Boston Celtics, winning 111-101 . The Nets now move to 3-11, and all 3 of their wins have come against quality opponents.
The biggest bright spot on the Nets tonight was Brook Lopez, who scored 23 points and snagged 10 boards. Lopez had his way with the smaller Celtics team all night, hitting runners, floaters, and mid range jumpers. He also pounded the offensive glass and scored a bunch of second chance points. After having a down game on Friday night, Lopez’s bounce back performance was much needed.
