The Brooklyn Nets snapped an eight game losing streak with the win. The first half showed the youth between these two teams. The Nets had a 49-40 lead, but the Bulls closed out the half on a nine to nothing run. The teams were tied at the break.
To begin the second half, Jarrett Allen came alive. Allen scored ten quick points in the first six or so minutes of the third quarter. He also completely posterized Lauri Markannen on this dunk, per Anthony Puccio:
