The Brooklyn Nets backcourt will remain a bit congested. The team has announced, per Adrian Wojnarowski of the Vertical, that the team options for Sean Kilpatrick and Joe Harris for the 2017-18 season will be picked up.
Kilpatrick, 27, finished his second season in Brooklyn this past season. The undrafted Cincinnati product enjoyed his best season in his short career last season. He shot 42 percent and 35 percent from the 3-point line. Kilpatrick also appeared in a career high 70 games and started 24 games for the Nets.
On most nights where the Nets couldn’t generate much offense, Kilpatrick served as an offensive sparkplug off the bench.
