The scooter you see is the scooter Durant is using in order to help nurse the ruptured Achilles he sustained in this past NBA Finals. The Brooklyn Nets acquired him in a sign-and-trade with the Golden State Warriors. Durant will be playing under a four-year, $164 million deal.
Durant’s timetable for his return to basketball is unclear at this point, and Nets general manager Sean Marks is ultimately leaving the decision up to the man himself.
